The 2012 Ornament

Christmas in St. Michaels is proud to present the ninth in our series of Collectors Ornaments.

Illustrator and marine scientist Alice Jane Lippson has captured the distinctive markings of the Rockfish, the state fish of Maryland in this ninth annual Christmas in St. Michaels ornament. The rockfish or “striped bass” gets its name from the 7 or 8 black stripes running from head to tail.
